Fabric Stucloper wrapper for around datenklo's.

The dimensions of a portable toilet are: w=122 l=111 h=223 cm. As according to this Boels model: https://www.boels.com/nl-nl/huren/bio-box-mobiel-toilet/p/19002. According to NOC, about 50 datenklo's were used at SHA2017.

  • Assuming all sides are covered with 2m of cloth silver-coloured stucloper, we need 8m for each datenklo, with 50 datenklo's this is 400 meters in total.
  • If covering the door side causes access to be too hard, we can leave it uncovered and use 6m per datenklo. This leads to a total of 300 meters.
  • A budget option (and also simpler) is to just wrap three sides (side walls and back) in one horizontal strip of fabric silver-coloured stucloper, just below the ventilation holes. This costs only 3.5 meters of cloth silver-coloured stucloper per datenklo: 175 meters total.

The budget for this project is intended for everything but the fabric silver-coloured stucloper itself, like attachment materials.

Dependencies

  • Team NOC is needed to coordinate buildup and teardown. Holes in the sides of the datenklo's are used to pass cables through. The door should be accessible during the event.
