Finance

As of right now, we can start spending up to 10.000 EUR of our budget.

The first projects that take precedence are:

  • LED-Poles, 4800 EUR
  • Flowers, 100 EUR
  • Wood for gate, letters and signs: 500 EUR
  • Lecterns: 200 EUR
  • Signage: 100 EUR

Rizoom mentions that the Entire budget for our team increased from 21.000 EUR to 37.000 EUR. The gap can be explained by ColourMyMCH, but Steven mentioned that this will be cancelled.


Projects

  • Flags: Janneke will order at some point.
  • Flowers: Hoxolotl will build a prototype. Design has been simplified to make it cheaper and easier to mass produce
  • Kaleidoscope: Hoxolotl is dropping this, find new person to manage this!

Planning

  • 23 February: Start first expenses mentioned above
    • Bulk order materials for LED-poles
    • Procure wood panels
    • Prototyping for flowers and some other small things

What are the eye-catchers for the event? The biggest things?

  • Where do you need to place things?
    • E.g. If the dragon is finished in time, where should it be on the terrain?
    • Where should the tarp sculpture be? And will it be finished before the event starts?
    • Placing LED poles
    • etc...
    • Is there contact with team terrain about this?

Deco On-Site Tent

  • Have you communicated the needs you have as a team for storage, room to work, things like that during the event? Also the location with team terrain?

Tents is a difficult topic, so the sooner we know the better. There is a big tent shortage for this 'covid free' festival summer.

It is practical to have a tent near a road to transport stuff from. 5x5 meters in size is ok.

The dragon needs party tent during construction, Hoxolotl will procure a party tent.


Misc

  • Safety regulations
    • Fabric used needs to be fire resistant, otherwise items might be banned from the event during build-up by the fire men who check everything before we get the OK to open
  • Questions:
    • My name is as contact for flags on Wiki. Is the correct? Can I order flags? :D
  • Good to know:
    • Avonturenhuis is not in the contract and we are about 99% sure we won't be able to use it (other group is inside during the event). SO that project can be abandoned.
