Interactive Stuff
SA007 has been in touch with Renze and convinced him to slap an IR LED on the badge.
SA007 is planning compatibility with the badge on the RGBlocks project.
If anyone wants IR LEDs to play with, ask SA007!
Budget
polyfloyd is drafting a new budget, please let him know about any changes and increases because of inflation, war and shitstorms whatnot.
Projects
Please all make pictures of your project progress and upload them to the respective wiki page! :)
Light Pillars
Hafnium has made a prototype of a controller with silicone diffused LED strip, shown on camera.
Some requirements are mutually exclusive. Them being 4 meters tall makes a single PVC pipe hard to store.
The main requirement is a colourful tall LED fixture. If any requirements, like re-use, are making the end result of having 4 meter tall LED pilars harder, it is ok to compromise such requirements.
Please reach out to Taraxacum (Pascal) about the mechanical side of this project.
RGBlocks
SA007 has made a custom controller PCB for this project, shown on camera.
The controller could be adapted to drive the Light Pillars as well.
Kaleidoscope
Polycarbonate and glue prototype looking good.
Ordered dichroic film in bulk.
Lenny Face
Ordered fences for 3 Lenny Faces via Manduca from Boels.
Hornbach has LED light fixtures that are cheap and suitable.
"Batton light" might also be suitable, research!
The fixtures could be wrapped in dichroic since we will have plenty.
