Role:POS Operations/Procedures/Prepaid Vouchers
Selling prepaid vouchers is as easy as selling any other item - except that you are able to enter the exact amount that the customer would like to purchase.
Click on the corresponding button and a screen will ask you to enter the desired amount.
Note: The system will issue one prepaid voucher per amount that you enter. Should the customer request 10 vouchers of 5 Euros each, you will need to sell them 10 individual vouchers of 5 Euro each - not one of 50 Euro. You can however sell them all within the same transaction - just add multiple vouchers to the cart.
Prepaid vouchers are only sold for cash - this is why you won't be able to accept any card payments at your cash register.
Once you have received the money from the customer, tap on the green Pay button. The green checkmark will indicate a successful sale and your terminal might - depending on the model you're working on - light up green.
The receipt printer next to your cash register should automatically start printing the appropriate amount of prepaid vouchers - one QR-code per voucher. Should the printing fail for any reason, you can tap on the cogwheel right of the Next customer button and select the Re-print tickets-button.
End of Receipt Roll
Always be mindful of the printed receipts: Should there be dark streaks on the paper, the roll is running out and needs to be replaced! Push down on the gray lever on the right of the printer to open its door and drop in a new roll of receipt paper - making sure to discard the first few centimeters of the roll as it is scratched up and has glue residues on it. If required, reprint the voucher codes on the fresh paper.
Non-Human Exchange
Should a customer prefer to not be served by a human but rather a machine, please direct them to the automated exchange machine. Feeding said machine with Euro-bills will yield automatically created vouchers of the same amount.
