Please provide Team:Volunteers with the types of angels you will be needing during MCH2022, so we can make sure people can sign up for these in the Angelsystem and we can provide you will all the help you need!

What we need to know from each team

Please explain your requirements using this template. If fields are not relevant you can leave them out but please be as complete as possible. You can add fields if you have anything else to mention.

If you'd like to see your team's input for SHA2017, please check here.

Team: Exampleteam

Angeltype: Exampleangel (Note: Each team can have multiple angeltypes!)
For each angeltype please answer:
  • Description: What will this angel be doing, what is expected. A small sales-pitch will improve chances for angels to pick your shift ;)
  • Location: Where should the angels report for their shift?
  • Restricted?: Y / N (Meaning the shifts are not open to everyone)
If yes:
  • Is training by your team needed?
  • Can that training be completed online and/or in advance? (We're considering offering an online platform for this if there's enough interest)
  • Are special skills needed?
  • Does it need a formal qualification (Not related to MCH - e.g. Driving License, First Aid, SVH (Hospitality Hygiene), Electrician etc)?
  • Does a team lead need to approve the angel and what (roughly) are the requirements?
  • Does the angel need to bring any tools or items to the shift? (e.g. Driving License)
  • Does the angel need to be sober for this shift? Y / N (E.g. driving, machinery operation, ferry master)
  • Any other reasons for restriction?
  • How many angels are needed and when?: Example:

  • During the event:
  • 12:00 - 17:00: Between 1 and 4 angels
  • 17:00 - 02:00: Between 3 and 10 angels
  • Tear-down:
  • None
  • Special shift times?: Y / N (Shift times are 2 hours by default, if you need shorter or longer shifts please explain here.)

Angeltype: First-aid
  • Description: Respond to requests for first-aid and tell people how to prevent the need for first-aid.
  • Location: TBD
  • Restricted?: Y

First aid certificate by Oranje Kruis or Rode Kruis. (NL)

International Red Cross/Crescent is probably fine (especially when from north-western europe)

BHV (nl) as a bare minimum.

  • Does a team lead need to approve the angel and what (roughly) are the requirements?

Probably, see above at qualification/certifications

  • Does the angel need to bring any tools or items to the shift? (e.g. Driving License)

No

  • Does the angel need to be sober for this shift? Y / N (E.g. driving, machinery operation, ferry master)

Yes (with emphasis)

  • Any other reasons for restriction?

No

  • How many angels are needed and when?: A named first-aid should be on-site before building starts until tear-down ends.
  • Build-up:
  • Glen and QuotenHollander have volunteered to respond to requests for first-aid during the build-up.

QuotenHollander reports to manduca early morning on the 14th.

Glen arrives 15th or 16th.

  • During the event:

24 each day (one four day shift, 2 angels per shift) what do you mean by one four day shift?

  • Tear-down:
  • 24 each day (one two day shift, 2 angels per shift)

QuotenHollander departs 27th or the 28th. (not sure yet)

  • Special shift times?: Y (Shift times are 2 hours by default, if you need shorter or longer shifts please explain here.)
  • Note: Unlike in the German camps First-aid is not provided by the CERT volunteers, this is due to the law on providing first-aid in the Netherlands. We need to find someone to explain these laws to the volunteer first-aiders present during build-up and tear-down.
